Avast Internet Security -

As a technician, being in the trenches all day long every day, I see my fair share of viruses and malware. I’ve tried all the antivirus softwares from AVG to Vipre. I have to admit, I started out installing Avira on all the computers I fixed because it seemed to be the best out there besides Avast!, but Avast! 4.0’s interface just wasn’t up to par. It looked like a media player, and nobody wants a media player interface for an AntiVirus, that’s silly. But since Avast! 5.0 has come out, I can’t say enough good things about it. I installed the free version on my home computer, and even had my dad install it the day I found out that it had been released. Now, I’m experimenting with their Internet Security version of Avast! and for $59.99 a year, you just simply cannot beat it! It’s PACKED with features and will keep you completely safe while you are on the internet. I’m not going to go into a full review here, but I will be putting up a full review soon under the “reviews” section of my blog, so check back soon to see the review with a video demonstration by me!

Unlike big box computers which are basically just “throwaways” we have computers we will custom-build to be the most upgradeable computers on the market. We can get you started on a simple email browsing machine and turn it into a gaming or high definition television machine later on, even if it’s a year later! We have been building computers for over 10 years now and would be happy to sit down with you on the phone, via e-mail, or a social network, and figure out just what your needs may be. We have built custom computers for businesses and residential customers alike and have only seen them back in the shop twice in the past 5 years! If you are looking for an upgrade(able) computer for your current machine that’s out of date, we have what you’re looking for at a great price.

Remote Support –

Anywhere we are, we can get online and help you with issues you are having with your computer. Remote support gives us the ability to log in to your computer from anywhere with your permission using secure software to ensure that nothing can be intercepted. We offer remote support with one hour paid in advance. This service will be perfect if you can’t leave the house, don’t want someone else at your house, or just don’t feel like leaving the comfort of your own home to get your computer fixed! The process is really simple, we just have you install a piece of software, give us the ID and password that is randomly generated just for our help session then, after we are done, you close it and it disconnects us from your computer and nobody can log in again! It really is as simple as it sounds to get your computer fixed without taking  all the cables loose and taking it to an office clear across town!

Pick Up / On-Site Support -

We also offer to pick up any computers if we can’t fix them via remote or if you opt to have it fixed in our shop instead. You will incur a 2 hour minimum and 4 hour maximum bill for this service. Also we will work on your computer at your home or office if you choose at no additional cost.

Drop off In-Shop Support -

Our drop off location is located at 4 Brown Avenue in Weston if you choose to drop off your computer instead. We advise you always call ahead because there is no way to know when an on-site call will catch us in the middle of our office hours and make us go out.

We provide basic desktop support charged by the hour. This includes anything from showing you how to install / uninstall a program to you bringing your PC in to us.

Antivirus Solutions -

Viruses are running rampant on the internet anymore. We will install our choice anti virus for you and run our suite of utilities to make sure you are infection-free when you leave our office or we leave your home or office! We do most of this via booting into a secured environment, free from the infections that may already reside on your computer. Once we are in our repair environment we are able to narrow down the problem files, registry entries, and processes and eradicate them for you.
